I had my Micro 9 CTLG out 3-4 times, it has about 300-400 rounds through it now and so far it has run flawlessly. Only failures at the this point have been slide lock failure on last round. The black part is the block, the gold thing is the safety. On the left side, the block is in the way of the firing pin moving forward. On the right side, the block is pushed up, exposing the cutout, and allowing the firing pin to move forward. Eventually you'll take it apart to see for yourself.
